OPTIONAL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION OPTION
Transportation Begins on Monday, August 20, 2012
Free bus service will be offered to students who need it. The schedule is as follows:
Morning - (2 Buses) Bus # &
Students arrive at Shelyn – 7:30 a.m.
Bus leaves Shelyn in route for Farjardo – 7:38 a.m.
Bus arrives at Farjardo at 7:53 or 7:58 a.m.
After School – Bus # &
GRADE BUS LEAVES FARJARDO BUS ARRIVES AT Shelyn
Kindergarten 1:35 p.m. Every Day 1:50 p.m.
Grades 1-3 2:20 p.m. Every Day 2:35 p.m.
Grades 4-6 2:35 p.m. Every Day 2:50 p.m.
*Scheduled times may vary slightly due to traffic, road construction or other unforeseen circumstances.
*Special Education and Regular Education students who ride the bus to Shelyn, from other schools everyday, will not be affected. Bus service will continue as usual. Instead of being dropped off at Shelyn they will be dropped off at Farjardo.
SUPERVISION
Before School - Students who ride the bus will be supervised by Campus Aides, in the morning beginning at 7:30a.m. until the time they load the bus. Students who are dropped off before 7:30a.m. WILL NOT BE SUPERVISED.
After School – Students who ride the bus MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF DROP OFF. Students will be supervised by Campus Aides in the afternoon.
BREAKFAST
Students who routinely eat breakfast at school and will be riding the bus to school (Farjardo), will be served breakfast when they arrive at Farjardo.
PARENTS MUST RETURN THE GOLD TRANSPORTATION FORM WITH YOUR TRANSPORTATION CHOICE. Bus passes will be issued to students who select the transportation option. Students riding the bus MUST ride every day. Students without a bus pass will not be able to ride the bus.
