Angel Garcia was the winner of this year's "RUSD's Got Talent" as a 6th grader at Shelyn Elementary. He also performed at the Rowland Unified School District's Employee of the Year Recognition Dinner.
He debuted on stage at the age of six years old at “Plaza del a Raza,” accompanied by Mariachi Juvenil de Plaza del al Raza. In 2013, that experience led him to win first place in singing in the show Lagrimita y Costel – and he has been wowing audiences ever since. In 2014, he was a participant in the show La Voz Kids for Telemundo network. Shortly after he was invited back to the show Sabado Gigante where he won first place in the singing competition. In 2015, Angel, along with his father, were chosen among 1,500 participants and won the opportunity to represent the US in Mexico on the internationally televised show Me Pongo de Pie, captivating his team captains (Grupo Rio Roma).
