Students will be dismissed early the first week of school.

Our Daily schedule will be altered this year to enable an early dismissal day on Tuesdays. This will allow teachers to further hone our educational program as they collaborate and plan around the Common Core Standards.

May 16th Rowland Unified School District will hold a showcase at the Rowland Heights Community Center. This is a great opportunity to see our talented students and teachers' work on show.

Shelyn Students raised $6890 dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to assist families and aid in research for a cure for these blood cancers.
The campaign ended with a celebration day that included Mrs. Ruud having her head shaved, Principal Opatkiewicz having pies thrown at her and a dance party for students raising $50 or more.
